The meeting will be held at Space Center Houston Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 with a tour on Friday afternoon. ARISS has a block of rooms reserved at a local hotel for the nights of October 27 through October 29 – details were in a separate email from Carol Jackson, including the request to coordinate rooms with Carol. Local hams will be helping transport visitors to/from the airports as well as the meetings.

2. New business (administrative only)

None.

General Session

3. Columbus module status, Presenters: G. Bertels, K. Ransom

Gaston has not heard anything from ESA with respect to HAM-TV.

Kenneth reported that the UHF Ericsson radio has been installed and in operation in the Columbus Module, and signal reports seem to indicate that there are no major antenna or feedline issues. The US team is working the safety process to improve the power situation for the existing hardware.

Lou reported that he is looking into developing a broadly capable power supply to be used for the various systems, current and future. As the requirements firm up he will be presenting the design to the Project Selection and Use Committee.

4. ARISSat-1 status, Presenter: L. McFadin

Lou reported that the US team is reviewing the Russian procedures. There should be a test of the system (as was done in February) on July 30 at about 1900 UTC, and the deployment is currently set for August 3. The battery charging is set for July 27. Requests for photos and videos of the preparation and deployment have been made.

5. New business

None.

The next international partners meeting will be Tuesday, August 16, 2011.

Respectfully submitted,

Mark Steiner, K3MS, for the ARISS Team
