General Session
2. New ARISS QSL card status, Presenter: R. White At the last meeting, a photo was selected for the card. Rosalie has received several suggested changes to the wording for the back of the card. She will incorporate all the changes and send out the card one last time for everyone’s approval before finalizing the card.
3. Columbus module status, Presenters: G. Bertels, M. Severance
VHF/UHF-
ARISS is in the final stages of having the Safety Data Package approved for operating in Columbus module. A power cable is needed to install the Ericsson in Columbus.
The radio will be hooked up to a black brick already onboard. A laptop plate will hold the 2 Ericsson radios which will be mounted on a Bogen Arm on Express Rack 3. The mounting plate and Bogen Arm will be sent up on Progress 39P in August. The cable, which was to be sent up on ULF-6, will now be sent on ULF-5. We are waiting for an official launch date.
HAM TV-
The Amateur Radio on Columbus (ARCOL) Working Group has been working on the ESR (Experiment Scientific Requirements) document. It will be submitted to some contacts at ESA for comments so that the document can be finalized and submitted to ESA. Frequencies have not yet been determined. We will downlink on S band. Uplink on L band, although not included in Phase 1, may be added in the future.
4. ARISSat-1 status, Presenter: L. McFadin
The ARISSat prototype, without solar panels, was sent to Dayton Hamvention for a demonstration. Prior to sending to Dayton, prototype components were placed in the thermal vacuum chamber and cycled down to -30°C with no detectable effects. More aggressive tests are planned.
The team is negotiating with NASA Wallops test facility to have the vibration tests run. Mark Severance will check with JSC about using its facility as a backup.
Some assembly of the satellite needs to be completed. The team is procuring Velcro with adhesive from a U.S. source to supplement the loop and hook material Sergey supplied.
5. New business

The next ARISS International Team meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 15 at 11:15 UTC.
Respectfully Submitted,
